Nail After Care
Missy Lui Nail Salon stands by, and guarantees,the highest quality outcomes to ensure you enjoy your experience. While we cannot issue a refund, please contact us if you have any problems with your nails, post service. In the event of your nails chipping within 3 days of a regular polish manicure, or four days after a gel or shellac polish, please email us a photo to- hello@missylui.com.au. We will offer you a complimentary revarnish of the affected nails. Outside of these time frames, a full service fee will be charged, as a new full manicure service will be required to keep your nails looking even and fresh. This guarantee excludes pedicures when shoes have been worn and smudged a fresh polish application.

Before Your Pedicure
To enjoy the best possible experience, it is suggested clients do not shave their legs in the 24 hours before treatment. Please endeavour to wear pants that are loose around the calf and ankle. We no longer provide disposable flip flops to assist with further reducing our carbon footprint, so please bring your own suitable shoes to wear after your pedicure.

Extra Drying Time
Less-toxic polish takes slightly longer to dry so please plan for a few extra minutes after your service. The lower toxicity the polish, the longer it can take to harden and cure, sometimes up to a full 24hours, although it may seem dry to the touch. Please be guided by your nail technician who will check your nails before leaving. When a pedicure has been done, please try to keep your feet free from enclosed shoes or socks to avoid smudging, and please read our Nail After Care suggestions.

Child Policy
We love your children, however due to the fact a nail salon has sharp instruments and chemicals such as acetone, we regret that we will insist that children under the age of 10 will only be permitted in the salon when the child is receiving a treatment. This is because we cannot properly ensure their safety in a professional work environment. We also do not want to compromise the relaxing environment for our guests. If a child is receiving a service, they should be able to sit still so that the nail artist can perform a quality service.

Gift Vouchers
Missy Lui Nail Salon gift vouchers expire after 12 months, however, we can extend it with a valid reason. Please treat our gift vouchers as cash, if it is lost or stolen, it will not be replaced. Our gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

Booking and Cancellations
At Missy Lui, we adhere to a strict 24 hours’ cancellation and amendments policy in order to accommodate the high demand of appointments. We will confirm with you the day prior, the appointment time that has been reserved exclusively for you. This policy allows us to accommodate other clients appointments, and importantly also guarantees a full day’s wage for our team. In the event that we do not receive the required notice for a time change, cancellation or in the event of a no-show, we will now be required to take a 50% non refundable deposit on your next booking.

As a courtesy to all clients scheduled throughout the day, on time arrival is expected. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled service to ensure there is plenty of time to check in, use the bathroom, and choose the perfect polish from our ever-growing range of non-toxic colours. Unfortunately, If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may shorten the length of your service time, or reschedule your appointment in consideration of the next client. If we have to adjust or shorten your appointment due to a late arrival, you will still be responsible for the full-service fee of your originally scheduled appointment.

Note that your requested nail technician is not always guaranteed and can change without notice but we will always do our best to accommodate your request.
